Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

If I'm not married to my unborn childs father, and he's caused a lot of stress and problems... should I invite him to my OB appointments?

The answer seems obvious. However, I am not sure there is anything under Illinois law that would give him any rights at this point. If you proceed in court to establish paternity in order to resolve issues of custody, visitation and child support it will be under the parentage act. But at this point your focus should be on eliminating stress and delivering a healthy baby. Good luck!

I don't think that the answer is obvious at all. Nor, do I think it has anything to do with your BF's parental rights. It has everything to do with your personal feelings in the matter. It is not necessary to invite him legally. I suggest you discuss the matter with your OB. This is not a legal question.
