Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Hi, I got married in Will County in Illinois. My divorce decree says I got married in Cook County. How do I correct this error. Thank you. CP

There is no reason to bother with it. I can't imagine what difference it would make. You are divorced. Who care where you got married? OTOH, if for some unknown reason it matters, you will have to file a petition to modify the judgment as to a "schrivener's error" and ask the court to correct the Judgment on its face to reflect Will County rather than Cook. If that is too difficult for you to do yourself, hire a lawyer.
