Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

OK...I live with my husband..we have been married for 21 years. The thing is he will not give me any kind of monetary support whatsoever. Yet he gives his girlfriend, who claims to have a daughter by him,all his money and every time I ask him for any,he always says no,he does not have any,and that is a total lie.

She seems to think she is entitled to everything, even though her ex-husband supports her and she is a welfare recipient.

So,what can I do about this? I'd like to move out,but that takes money and I don't have any.

Thank you.

N.Y.

For the court to have jurisdiction there must be a case before it, such as a divorce action. Are you interested in pursuing a divorce, or are only interested in support?
