Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My stepdaughter was forced to lie and say that I physically abused her and that she now wants to live with her dad. Her dad threatened her with violence to get her to lie to her mother over the phone. Thank God he didn't have her lie to authorities. As soon as she was back home she admitted it. What now? What if he did make her lie to authorities? I feel like I just dodged a bullet when I did nothing wrong.

As a step parentyou have little if any rights, especially if both Mom and Dad are alive. Be happy you dodged a bullet.
