Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

I am in the process of bying a vehicle and still owe about $1,400 on it got the plates soley in my name and the other day recieved the title in the mail free and clear (no lien on said vehicle). Vehicle is being purchased from a used car lot does in house financing. I know and will continue to pay the debt but legally if I want can I sell the vehicle

The answer depends on what is said in the written agreement for financing. You probably can sell the car anytime, but may immediately owe the balance if you do.
