Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois

12th amendment and parental visa

My son is a s tudent at a 4-year-college in the USA. The American, thorugh the 12 amendment, law gives right to parents to obtain a visa and reside in the USA and continue bringing up their child until he/she is 21. Where can I read more about this amendment and how can I obtain such a visa?

Thank you

Re: 12th amendment and parental visa

Someone is either putting you on or is very misinformed. Neither the 12th Amendment to the Constitution nor any other legal document, statute or regulation, gives a non USC or non lawful permanent resident parent the right to live in the US because your under 21 child may be permitted to study here on a student visa.
