Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

My company is asking me to sign a 3 year Employment Agreement. Will I be able to resign within the 3 years without penalty? Do I have to sign?

Your employer is trying to arrive an an agreement concerning the terms and conditions of your employment. I assume the issue is up for negotiation. You should consult a qualified employment attorney to help you with this process. I am huessing that if you don't sign, they will not employ you.
