Whistleblower defence for Payroll Scam?

If an Employee perpetuates payroll fraud w/ an accomplice, and then admits the scheme in the process of ''Whistleblowing'' on the accomplice, can the Employer legally terminate the Employee without fear of a wrongful dismissal suit? Said Employee was the whole beneficiary of the Payroll fraud, accomplice received no monetary gain.

Re: Whistleblower defence for Payroll Scam?

Hello. In my opinion the employer is well within

its rights to terminate the employee for the

payroll fraud. In fact, if I were the employer's

attorney I would advise the employer that such

a termination is necessary. I will be happy

to answer any additional questions that you might

have.
