Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois

I sublet my apartment without telling the landlord. The lease ended October 1st. and the girl is refusing to leave. Am I resonsible? Or can she be evicted without me getting involved?

If the apartment is in Chicago you didn't have to get the landlord's consent but you needed to give the landlord notice. Effectively the subtenant is your responsibility. So if the landlord has to evict her, the landlord could charge you with the costs and damages.
