Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois
My wife's niece and her three young children have been staying at my house for six months. She has not paid any rent and there is no written or verbal agreement between us. I want her out but my wife does not. Can I legally kick her out even if my wife wants her to stay?

Legally you may but your wife will have to choose between you and her niece, and if she chooses her niece, you may lose. So without more I'd say it's pretty much something you ought to work out first and maybe the three of you need to sit down and discuss how this is affecting your marriage.
