Legal Question in Military Law in Illinois

Millitary parole and dd214

I am currently on parole after servin 22 months of a 48 month sentance today i recived in the mail my DD214 a letter saying that i am no longer to be on Ft. Sill and a set of orders returning me to Ft. Sill. On my DD214 it showes my discharge date As Aug. 24 2007 and a BCD. I was not supposed to be of parole untill 2009 and was sentanced to a Dishonerable Discharge. Does this mean i have srecived some form of clemancy being as i was told i would not recive my 214 untill the completion of my parole?

Re: Millitary parole and dd214

1. Receipt of the DD214 means your appeal is complete, your conviction has been affirmed.

2. It is possible you received a sentence reduction as a part of your appeal; or through Army Clemency & Parole Board action, although you being unaware of matters makes it more likely on the appellate side.

Mr. Cave is correct. You should contact your Army Appellate Defense Counsel asap to get the specifics and he or she can also tell you the effect on your parole.
