Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

battery in a restaurant

What steps can I take if I was choked in a bar by one of the restaurant managers. When the police showed up, admitted he did it, yet they still did not file a report, even though I asked them numerous times to do so. From what I understand, I believe a have a clear case of battery, since I did not do anything to prooke the situation. Also, the manager was claiming that the restaurant had cameras

Re: battery in a restaurant

Your main option is to file suit against the restaurant and the manager who choked you. Maybe these types of incidents have happened in the past at this restaurant...give me a call if interested in pursuing legal action.
