Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

I buy and sell properties in a small-town. Sometimes rehab the houses. There is a Realtor that keeps filing professional code violations to put me out of business with $25,000 fines (acting as a Realtor). I am not a Realtor. My sellers and buyers are willing to testify on my behalf. How do I stop this harassment?

Illinois regulates brokers and if this broker is out of bounds you can file a complaint.

Not sure I understand what is being done here. Are you simply buying a house from someone, and then selling it to someone else? Or are you "putting together" buyers and sellers and acting as an intermediary, and then collecting a fee? There are many programs which show you how to get rich quick with "finder's fees" and other such artifices. Every one I have seen violates Illinois law. I would need more facts regarding your business before I would be comfortable telling you not to worry about these fines and complaints.
