Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

I own a condominium in DuPage County, Illinois. The Management Company said they don't give copies of the Master Insurance policy to owner's. I also found out they changed insurance companies without issuing new certicates. They tell me I'm responsible for cantilever joists repair for balcony.

A. Insurance: Bologna. State law requires the association/management company to give all owners access to and to make copies of any relevant condominium papers. Condominium insurance policies and certificates fall in that category. You must make a written request and they have 30 days to comply.

B. Joists: All depends on whether they are common elements, limited common elements, or part of the unit, and what the respective responsibilities of the association and individual owners are under the condominium declaration..... Can't say without a complete review.
