refinance and foreclosure

we refinanced in oct of 2008 in january 2009 we got foreclosure papers from old company the new company said they did pay old co and gave me the check no, i sent the lawyer for the old co the nrefinance papers and even the check no to the check the old co got what do i do because the lawyer is not getting a response from the old co and now we have a court date

Contact the title insurance company who handled your refinance for assistance. They should be able to get it cleared up for you.

As Ms. Amdani says, contact the title company. But don't let the court date go by; you should attend court if the title company doesn't for whatever reason. Bring your paperwork with you.
