Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois

My son has received 2 traffic voilations in less than 24 months. The tickets are paid for. He received a notice in mail today about suspended license for 6 months. Can he get court supervision? He wants to go into the miltary and needs his license. When he paid the tickets they never mentioned losing his license. Someone suggested that he go talked to State's attorney.

Your chance of getting straight advice from the State's Attorney is rather nil. I bet he plead guilty to each offense, and paid a fine. I would also bet that you thought that an attorney to appear on his behalf on each of these tickets was too expensive. What you need to do is recall these tickets and get a re-sentence. Depending on what county, you might have a chance. I doubt that your son would need a DL in boot camp for anything.
