If the administrator files a petition against me to discover assets and not show up for court shouldn't the court date be continued?

Who didn't show up, you or the administrator? If the administrator didn't show up, it's up to the court to continue or dismiss, if you didn't show up you're in contempt of court and can be the subject of a court order for your arrest.
