Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

I am one of 2 siblings. I moved back out of state to take care of my mother. Her house was unlivable so I took out a mortgage and have had the house outside and in remodeled. The mortgage and deed is in my mom and my name. My sister who has not assisted in any way thinks she is entitled to half the house when my mother passes just because she is her daughter. Am I protected?

If you owned the house in joint tenancy with your mother, you now own the house. Your sister has no claim on the house. If you need any further information please call.
