The normal settlement for one surgery to the wrist for carpal tunnel would be about 20%-30% of a hand. If you also had a separate or second surgery to your elbow, I feel you case would be worth an additional 20-30% of an arm depending on the type of surgery and/or your outcome. If you had surgery to both hands and/or elbows, you would be entitled to these amounts for both hands/arms.

You should be advised the above is simply an estimate. Every case has many variables that play a role into how much your settlement could be. There are really no formulas to go by. The value of each case depends on the type of the injury, the injured and his or her medical history, the difficulty of proving connection between the incident and the injuries claimed, the arbitrator who is expected to evaluate the claim if settlement negotiations fail and many of other factors.

If you have an attorney, you should follow his or her advice. If you do not have an attorney, you would do well to get one.
