Legal Question in Discrimination Law in India

Keeping own name.

I am a 28-year-old married woman. I would like to keep my maiden name, surname even after marraige and pass it on to my child too. Is it possible for me to retain my name in all uses like in my passport, banks etc?

Thanx,

bye.
