Re: Collections

issue a notice by regd.post ack. due to the Managing Director of HDFC Bank Ltd., to stop harassment. If it does not yield results, file a complaint to the Banking Ombudsman in the State in which you reside or the cause of action arises. The Procedure for complaint and the address of the Ombudsman can be ascertained by accessing rbi.org.gov.in or the RBI website.

Re: Collections

First file a complaint with the manager of that branch from which you took the loan. Before taking any criminal action against the bank (recovery agent) you should have some base to substantiate your claim.

If that does not materialize then file a complaint with the regional head and cc to MD of HDFC bank along with the RBI.

If this also fails, file a criminal complaint with your local police station.
