Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

I am a resident of delhi & my marital home is in Kolkata. After excessive mental and physical torture I was file u/s 498A/406/34 IPC in Kolkata and he got anticipatory bail & thn confirmed bail he got. I am a neuro patient patient & it�s not possible for me to go Kolkata for attending my case, coz I got severe seizure when I was travelled for a long distance journey..

Hence, I want to transfer my u/s 498A case from kolkata to delhi court. And the case is arijit (my husband) vs state. Is there any option to transfer the case in delhi coz first of all I am a resident of delhi and second am a neuro patient. I want to fight my case but in delhi not in Kolkata.

Hence, I request you to please kindly help me and find out the right path.

It can be transferred to Delhi by filing a transfer petition in Supreme Court.

Yes you can pray to court to transfer the case... if court get please then yes you case can be transfered.....

You may need to file divorce as well, that can be filed from delhi, but you are not accused in the 498A case, you just need to go there once at the time of evidence. After that its between him and state. You may also seek permanent exemption. To know us better, please click on the links below:
