Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

I have'nt got my salary for the month of july, wherein nothing was told to us at a prior notice. On 5th of August we get a mail saying that our salary would be 100% variable (pay for performance model), which would be applicable to the month of July also. Nothing is even mentioned in the offer letter. The company is a registered Company under the Indian Companies Act 1956.

I would like to know what kind of legal actions can be taken against the Company

you may file a suit for recovery of your salary in a civil court in case your job is of supervisory nature and in case there is no employee reporting to you, you may file a case under labour laws.
