Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

Car repo and international collection

I was behind on car payments, and I offered to get my car reposessed. But the creditors offered a reduced payment scheme and suggested I find a buyer in the meanwhile. I had to get the car repaired and it is still in the shop (insurance payment is holding it up). I cant make any more payments on it, and I am required to leave the country soon or risk falling out of immigration status. My questions are

1) What happens if I just leave? Can they reposess the car from the repair shop ?

2) If they get a judgement against me can it prevent me from getting a US visa in the future?

3) Does it make sense for me declare bankruptcy in the US while physically being in a different country?

Thanks in advance.
