Legal Question in Discrimination Law in India
my friend is using premarriage first name & also postmarried first name with her husbands name & surname, in diff situations. eg Savita in bank, child school form,ration card, pan card & Sayali in other child school form & in her husbands passport. My Q is can a same person use two different first name legaally. if yes, is it advisable to make a affidivit, as she wants to make her own passport, & her pan card etc proof has premarrige first name & her husband passport has postmarriage 1st name.
Pl advise what is best & simple way to have a solution.

very good writer, why asking by fake frnd. it is you not your frnd
after marriage, the wife may use her maiden or husband s surname. the choice is hers. for applying passport, the format for the name change is annexed with the form itself.
