Legal Question in Family Law in India

I want a divorce from my husband. I am hindu and residing in mumbai. In how much time can i get a divorce if it is a mutual consent divorce. As far as i know it takes i and half years minimum for mutual consent divorce. IIs there any other way to get divorce immeditaely?

i dont know the practice in mumbai but it will take 6 months at least here. other procedure can be a little bit speedy but due to slow judiciary it may take the same or more time.

Who says it takes 1.6 years? So far I know as per Law it does not take more than 6 months for mutual divorce. Further if you and your husband both are interested in getting the divorce mutually then you may contact on details as given below

Mutual consent is only Divorce which would take minimum 6 months to get the Decree of Divorce and which is the quickest form of Divorce in India.
