Legal Question in Family Law in India

Respected lawyers, I signed the mutual divorce agreement in june 2011 and the final motion and divorce decree will be granted on 8 dec. The FIR quashing for the boy will be done after that. Can I marry immediately after getting the divorce decree. As in the FIR quashing will happen in jan 2012 can I marry on dec 15. The reason why I am asking and seeking this advice from LAWGURU is because my lawyer and their lawyer have become friends and offlate I feel that my lawyer is taking their side. I do not want to inform them beforehand that I want to marry on dec 15. please help.

Yes, you can marry any time after obtaining MUTUAL CONSENT DECREE OF DIVORCE; but not only the divorce decree is a result of contest.

yes you can marry after getting certified copy of judgement and decree.
