Sir ,my wife filed a cases 498A, 3-DPA, 4-DPA ON 7 members and FIR registered in police station lastly I and my wife decided to settle on divorce for 1,75000 rupees ,I have to pay to her, but they are pressuring on immediate pay of money, as a checks ,promissory note or DD .before this I filed a divorce case on my wife , presently I have �t money what can I do now, my lawyer is not supporting how to give checks ,DD, promissory notes please tell the process

file a affidavit in the court and deposit cheques,dd,promissory notes seeking for out of court settlement and see that your wifes also supports for the same then only all the cases will be deminished else nothing will happen.
you may pay some at the time of quashing of 498A, some on divorce, some upfront and so on. after making a statement in the court. that would be more stronger to wife than promissory note or pronote
