Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
earlier i am collecting sum of amount Rs 100000/- from my friend with surity of my blank cheque. After few his marriage is settled and asking me amount, I am tranferring the same throgh my net banking and asking the cheque, he confirms after marriage he will be return the same. after few days i am asking intrest amount to pay the above and given me my cheque, He confirms cheque is misplaced.i confirmed him to after return the cheque i will be pay the intrest. After few days he cheated me and deposit my cheque in bank the same was bounced in May-10. He sent a notice for me in JUN-10. I reply notice to him through my lawyer about cheating case. after that i am not receiving any letter from him. I heard recently JuL-11 he sent a court notice to my native place where i am leaving before 6 months. I am inform the same to my lawyer. Please give me your valuable suggestion what step i taken further.
