Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India
My Grandfather had a plot of land that he subdivided into 3 parts. He gifted 2 smaller portion to my two aunts ( his daughters ) and bequeathed the larger portion to me. My two aunts were the executrices of my Grandfathers will.
One aunt is refusing to give me the original sale deed to the property saying she has the right to hold on to it. I am trying to sell the property and no buyer will buy it as long as my aunt has possession of the original sale deed.
Is she legally able to keep the Original Sale Deed as she has done for the past 20 years?
