Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Indiana

one of my friends father married to some other girl without any divorce given to her mother is the later marriage legal and what could be done in such a case what kind of complaints could be filed and what are the threats related please tell as this is becoming worse now and effecting her.

the second marriage is invalid assuming the first was not terminated. the father must not be thinking very clearly. am unsure what the turmoil is but everyone is best trying to keep the temperature down on the situation. the father is in big enough trouble or will be without your friend or her mother throwing gasoline on the fire. it is called bigamy and it may still be a crime in the state of indiana.
