Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana

Have a small business and use credit cards from clients to pay they have given me their card numbers etc. we by mistake in invoicing billed one of the cards wrong and the client went nuts saying thats unacceptable and you must refund now well we did submit a refund but the account with wells fargo is needed to get more payments into it before it will clear we had her for a customer for 2 years fact we are still working for her now getting service items to her company can she get mme in legal trouble this was just and error and i contacted her when it happened to explain

You probably don't have a big legal problem. If it was an honest mistake and you have refunded the money as soon as possible, there shouldn't be an issue. I don't know what you mean by needing more payments, but if that means that you haven't refunded all of her money, you had best get that done immediately. You should also document everything that happened by writing it down so that you have a record of what happened, including all transactions, dates, payments, communications. You should also make an immediate apology to her, in person and in writing.
