Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana

Is there anyway to legally immobilize a package thief? Not kill them, but sort of roofie them? I need an answer with a little explanation. Not a whole lot, but not a 4th grader answer like "No" - Jay Rigdon of Warsaw, IN.

This is the third such question you've asked in the past half-hour. So here's your simple answer: You can't legally set a trap (whether mechanical, chemical, electronic, etc.) to kill, injure, or capture another human being. Period. So get a grip and think of some other way to deal with the problem.
