Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Filed for divorce in Oct 2013. Since that time my ex has not been responsible for any bills or any part of the mortgage? Income portion is not far off I make 52% and he make 48%. That has since changed and we are now 50% and 50%. My attorney is telling me that it will not change his child support nor is he or will he be responsible for any portion of the mortgage? Plus the fact that he has not paid anything towards martial debt. How is this possible?

Since you have counsel, you really should ask the attorney, who is familiar with ll of the facts of your case as well as the practices and history of the judge handling the case with similar situations. Also, he or she may be referring to the provisional period, not the final decree.
