Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Joint legal custody question and rights there of

parents have joint legal custody. Can one parent give legal guardianship to a relative by marriage without the other parents consent?

If the paperwork was turned in to make it look like that relative was the child's guardian isn't that falsifying records?

Is there anything the other parent can do?

There should have been notice of the legal guardianship proceeding. I dont understand what you mean by your second question. If you were denied due process you should be bale to set aside the guardianship within the guardinaship proceeding.

You also may have a claim for contempt in the divorce or paternity action.
