Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

Grandson wants to take over making payments on his grandmothers property, if anything should happen to her he would obtain the property. What is the legal aspect of this situation?

"Taking over payments" doesn't give him anything. If he wants to buy grandma's house and assume the payments, he should enter into a contract with her and seek permission from her lender to do this.
