Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

Real estate question

I purchased a home on a 2 lane highway. I knew they were expanding this highway to a 4 lane highway. I asked how the expansion would affect me if I would purchase this home. The selling agent advised my agent that the current 2 lane would become a county road and the 4 lane would go north of us. The 4 lane is not going north of us. It will take part of my yard. The previous owner was compensated over a year ago. Is there anything I can do since the selling agent lied? (We have what he told the selling agent in writing.)

Re: Real estate question

You may be able to sue the selling agent. However, since this was a public record, you may have a heavy burden to overcome. Good luck
