Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

My biological father passed, my mother remarried and I was adopted at the age of 12. My fathers mother just passed and left her estate without a signed will. My Father has a living brother who is calming I have no claim to the estate because of the adoption. Do I have any claim to a portion of the estate? The property is in Indiana. Thank You.

Children by adoption have the same rights as natural children under Indiana intestate (no will) rules. You will need to retain an attorney to protect your rights.
