Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana
Is it legal for my lawyer to charge me to transfer a house to mine and my childrens' name in a probate matter after being payed their percentage of my departed wife's estate? The estate amounted up to one thousand shares of stock which were sold, and a home in San Bernardino, California. The home has not been sold.
Keep in mind that the judge ordered that the estate keep in reserve two-thousand dollars for final accounting of the estate by the estates cpa, and four-thousand dollars for final closing costs.

That would depend on what the fee arrangement was and whether the transfer was part of estate work.
