Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

Type Your Question Here... I was told that in Indiana a Michigan resident can be the personal representative for an Indiana estate. They said there are two requirements: Must have a Resident Agent and a Bond for the estate. Is this true? This is for my son-in-laws estate. My daughter and their only child are also deceased. Am I elgible. I am 84 yrs.old, a retired h.s. English teacher. There was no will. His nearest heir is his brother who lives in the Phillapines and he wants me to be the personal rep.
