Legal Question in Family Law in Indonesia

how to get a divorce in a multi-country/multi-residence marriage

My husband and I are from Denmark and India respectively, and got married in Massachusetts while on student residencies there. We have been living in Indonesia for more than 2 years now on work visas, and wish to file for a divorce. Is it possible for us to file for a divorce anywhere in the USA and how do we go about it? Else where do we file?

You must be a resident of a state for a specific period of time in order for the court of that state to have jurisdiction over the divorce. Whether you are residents of Mass., I wouldn't know. You must chcck the law in Mass to determine what the residency requirement is. Generally however, if you have your primary residence in Mass and are only students and living elsewhere, you should be able to file for divorce in Mass.
