Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Iowa

Over the past 2 years my ex wife has been accessing my social media Facebook account and reading all personal communications I have had with friends. She has communicated several of these conversations to other people. She has also been accessing my credit card account and my health insurance account via online and getting information and sharing it with others. this includes purchases I have made and doctors visits and medication prescribed. All of this is unauthorized and I was unaware of it until recently. I have now changed all passwords and contacted my bank and insurance company to shut her out of those accounts. Are there any laws in Iowa that have been violated which would allow me recourse? I feel my privacy has been violated.

You might be able to bring suit against her, and it is possible she could be charged with intercepting electronic communications but since FB is a public site. On the other hand your medical records and credit card info is or should be private. Best bet? Have your attorney send her a nastygram of the cease and desist kind.
