Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Iowa

I was sexually abused by my father when I was young through the years I did not realize how he was manipulating and controlling my life. I am currently in a mixed color relationship and my family does not like it they have called for false police welfare checks twice and sent DHS to my house on false allegations as well. my former best friend was also involved in these phone calls to the police. I feel like my family is bbeing harassed. my partner is not comfortable in our home because he doesn't know when the police will show up again since the first welfare check they drew a gun on him not to mention how much this scares my children. is there something I can do to stop them can I get a protective order or a no contact order. Please help this is put a very large strain on my family!!

You're going to have to deal with DHS sooner or later. They're obligated to investigate any and every allegation of child abuse, no matter who or where it comes from. You did not say whether the allegations were founded or not. If not, you may be able to go to court and get some kind of protective order if they've been filing false reports in an effort to harass you. Be prepared to hire an attorney and spend money. Lots of money.
