Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Iowa

car title loan

To Whom it may Concern:

I borrowed money on my car title and, then my doctors put me on a medical leave until father notice, so I don't know when I can go back to school or find a job. I have been paying them a $100.00 dollars a mouth. I'm currently on the FIP program but, that may be take away from me because my 18 year old son started a job and we live together. My question is can they take the car away from me as long as I make an effort to pay them every mouth?

Re: car title loan

Unless you pay them as agreed, a secured creditor can generally repossess the car. You should contact them to see if you can make change the terms of your original agreement. And get it in writing!
