Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa

I have a set of legal questions I need some advise on, they

are as followed:

I was charged with an "Adult" sex case under

Iowa Code 709.4 July 6, 2011, with an attached special sentence under Iowa

Code 903B.1 (Lifetime Parole) - My questions are as followed: 1 though

4

1. I am currently incarcerated but received a letter from

the Executive Officer out of the 4th Judicial District Residential Treatment

Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa who stated this: "All Sex Offenders entering

the 4th District are required to reside at the Residential Treatment Center

upon Discharge initially before starting their special sentence under 903b.1

and 903b.2, they must reside for a period of 30 days regardless if they

have a place to parole or not. After release they will be put on intensive

parole with a GPS Monitor for a min, of 6 months.

2. Under

Iowa Statue my question is this can they actually contain me to a Halfway

House or Residential Treatment Center after I discharge from Prison even

though I have no Restrictions under Iowa Code 692A, stating my crime involved

an adult person.

3. Can a Parole Officer put excessive restrictions

on my Parole Contract even it they don't pertain to my charged offense,

Such as no bars, casinos, dance clubs, need permission to obtain drivers

licenses back, need permission to visit grand parents at retirement home,

all this seems to be very broad and excessive which none relates to my

charge nor does it promote rehabilitation to my crime.

4. If

a person is experiencing this type of treatment should he file for Post

Conviction Relief involving his special parole conditions and sentencing

after discharge from prison?

Thank you for your assistance

and recommendations, Please advise me of what my options maybe and what

I should do in order to maybe clear this issue up, Thank you . .

Your issues are far too complicated to be answered in a forum such as this. I would recommend that you hire an attorney to find out what your rights and responsibilities are, when you are released from prison.
