Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Iowa

Negitive talk about me to other Co-Workers

I primarily work with 1 person in our office. I like to be honest and work within the rules and regulations. My co-work seems to do what ever it takes to get the job done, even if it means bending to breaking the rules. He has made many errors that I have had to clean up. He has refered to me as a dog to one of our clients, on the phone. His comment was can you get me the signed form so that I can get the dog off of my back. I took this to my supervisor and he told me ''oh that's just a figure of speech''. Unfortunatly, my co-work is constantly giving those kind of ''digs''. Today he told me to do something, I had a prior e-mail that I was not to do what he was asking. He got very upset called my supervisor, chewed her out, called me chewed me out, at the end of the day, he called my supervisor and appoligized to her.I ask her, don't you think he should also apologize to me. She said that was out of her hands. All day he went around talking about me, not nicely, to all my other co-workers. One co-work came up to me, said boy you really pissed -- off today. I was only following the rules. He was removed from one task because of his errors in judgement. I am worried that I am going to get fired because of him. Isn't this Harsement?

You might be getting harrassed but if your question is whether it is actionable, the answer is probably no.
