Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

My 16 year old son was living in Shawnee Kansas, with his father, our district court order from iowa states that he has physical primary and we have joint legal. He got physical primary due to me doing 7 months of inpatient treatment and i did not have a release date at the time of our district court hearing. I have visitation with my 16 year old son for thanksgiving and christmas break is what our district court order states. I picked my son up on 12/19/15 for his christmas break and he does not want me to take him back to his fathers house. He wants to stay in iowa with me. I strongly suspect my son's father is using drugs. My question is, if I do not return my son, as the court order states, Will I be charged ? Or what can they do to me?
