Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

My 1yr old was recently removed from my care by DHS due to an investigation in which I had been the victim of domestic violence. Their almost entire case was all based on my history criminal, as well as relinquishment of my rights to a child 13yrs ago in NE. They are ordered by the judge to provide services to me, namely one of which is a hair stat drug screen. Nothing in my history reflects drug use, I am currently entering treatment for alcohol dependency. I want to refuse the test. What can they do? The history they have with me is devastating and very unusual. I have every reason not to trust their motive for anything at all. Poor court apt counsel the 1st time cost me my child as well as entrapped me in a criminal conviction. What are my rights? I have a lawyer whose only advice is 100% submission which was my demise last time.

You have an attorney. I would suggest that you either start listening to them or find yourself another one.If you're clean you have nothing to worry about, right?
