Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

Hello going thru divorce just served iowa. My home is in my wifes name i always paid half. I just wrote check i cant see atorney tell monday. should i hold check. Would this give her atorney fuel to get me to move. either way house will be foreclosed at end here. but want to stay as long as possible not agreeing to sell.

If it is solely in her name you are a tenant at will and she will have to go through the legal process of evicting you.
