Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

I have filed a Petition to Establish Paternity and Set Child Support in Iowa, the father has not responded and the 20 days has passed, I have also sent him a Notice of Intent to File Written Application of Default. What is the next course of action to take?

File a motion for a default judgment. I assume you can demonstrate legally sufficient service either by direct means or by publication.

If you have not yet done so, you should make sure the child support recovery unit is involved.
